Both orchestras play to an extremely high standard. Here are some of our plans for our winter concerts next year:
- Symphony will be playing Festive Overture by Shostakovich and Symphony no. 5, 'the Reformation', by Mendelssohn
- Philharmonic will be doing themed concerts and will be looking to play a range of music such as Mozart's Overture to the Magic Flute, The Little Train of Caipira by Heitor Villa-Lobos and The Polar Express.
Currently Symphonia Symphony Orchestra is only accepting applications from Violas, Basses, Bassoons, Horns and Trombones. Unfortunately every other seat is taken! If you were unsuccessful this year, please do try again next year :) Philharmonic is always open to new people so come along on a Tuesday and have some fun!
